As one of Coffs Coast’s foremost marriage celebrants, I continually have the pleasure of marrying beautiful couples who travel to Coffs Harbour as their chosen destination wedding.  The Coffs Coast provides a sense of relaxation, great times, and excitement when you travel to our scenic wonderland for a wedding.  Regardless of how large or intimate the celebration is, without a doubt, your ceremony experience will be one to remember for a lifetime.

And Gareth and Shay were absolutely thrilled they made the decision to marry on the Coffs Coast.  Having visited the region many times previously, it was only natural that they chose the colourful Cubana Resort, Urunga to say ‘I do’.  Their ceremony (and the venue) was every bit a reflection of who they are as a couple, their incredible journey together, and their hopes for a future with each other by their side.  It was so much fun marrying them both, not to mention I will never forget Gareth walking down the aisle wearing his all-white outfit complete with a tall hat with his proud father by his side.

Shay shared with me “Thank you so much for your email and even more so for everything you did for us at our wedding. I was nervous when we were initially looking for a celebrant as I wasn’t sure how we’d be treated as a “same-sex” couple.

After meeting you, my concerns were quickly put to rest and you made both of us especially myself feel very at ease and relaxed. The ceremony was amazing, you engaged with all of our family and friends and so many of them commended you on how great you did at making it personable, light hearted, and fun, you really did help set the scene to what was an amazing, amazing night with many sore heads and magic memories”.

My absolute pleasure Shay.

  • We couldn’t have ask for a more intimate and loving ceremony. Simon’s kind words, readings and professionalism were greatly appreciated. All went to plan, better than we imagined! He was very helpful and considerate when it came to our request. Thank you once again Simon.

  • We would like to thank you for the great job you did at our beach wedding. You were so professional and caring about everything and everyone. You had all the equipment set up on the beach and everyone was able to hear you clearly. You made our day so special and stress free. We have been to a lot of weddings and the celebrants don’t come anywhere near your presentation. At the end of the ceremony everyone was commenting on how personal the ceremony was and how modern you presented yourself at the ceremony. We highly recommend having Simon for your wedding. As a celebrant you would not find a more professional, caring, honest, young and touching one like him. Thanks Simon.

  • Thank you Simon, for your overwhelming enthusiasm for our wedding with a difference. We couldn’t believe how dedicated and supportive you were in making it something we will never forget. To see you walking down the aisle as Lord Darth Vader was an image that will remain with us forever. Your kind words, your sense of humour and your willingness to do whatever it took to make our day just the way we imagined. Your personal service and professional commitment was unwavering and it was our honour to have you preside over our marriage… We would most highly recommend you to anyone. May the force be with you! And that’s no word of a lie!!!
