Music is good – silence is not good.  That’s why as Coffs Coast preferred marriage celebrant I provide the latest kick ass PA system capable of delivering sound as far as the ear can hear.  Many couples ask me what kind of music they should choose for their ceremony.  Music will always play an integral part of any perfect ceremony that I officiate on the Coffs Coast and throughout Australia.

Live or recorded, music sets the atmosphere, it welcomes your guests and tells a story of who you are as a couple.  I have been part of ceremonies of all different shapes and sizes.  In fact, I first started in this industry with my very own wedding DJ business way back in the late 80’s – those were the days…

As an experienced marriage celebrant I have stood next to couples that have walked down the aisle to the theme from Star Wars, I have had an acoustic guitarist play AC/DCs ‘Highway to Hell’ during the signing of marriage certificates and pretty much everything else in between.  Each ceremony is unique and any song should always reflect who you are.  When you walk down the aisle your song should resonate with your best mate and life partner waiting for you at the other end.  This is where I see the goosebumps start.  That’s when I know I am part of something really special.

A great song selection will always add another dynamic to an already awesome ceremony.  Over the many years of being part of the happiest moment any two people can experience I reckon I have a pretty good grounding on songs that work.  I have included some links available on the internet to hopefully give you some inspiration including those songs on high rotation this year.
